Gisou accelerates pop-up strategy with collector’s item at new UK activation

A Crystal Edition of Gisou’s Honey Infused Hair Oil can be won at the festive pop-up as the brand continues to ramp up its reach with immersive experiences

Gisou is opening a Christmas pop-up to ramp up its “brand growth” and “community engagement” in the UK.

The five-day activation, based in London shopping destination Covent Garden, promises to offer an immersive experience into the DNA of the honey-inspired beauty brand.

Gisou is investing heavily in physical experiences for its customer base across different regions, especially after the success of its Honey-Infused Hair Oil installation in the US last year.

The New York activation generated record-breaking foot traffic for the brand, generating US$21 million in earned media value – a 127% increase from the previous year.

Its TikTok and Instagram following also grew by more than 300,000 followers during this time. .

The brand has previously held pop-ups in Amsterdam in 2019 and Paris in 2021, as well as London back in 2022.

Gisou’s 2024 festive London pop-up “is expected to drive even more sales”, foot traffic and social media excitement, said a statement by the brand.

“This event captures our brand vision – blending storytelling, product discovery and unforgettable moments, while staying true to our values as a community-first, global brand,” said Negin Mirsalehi, founder of Gisou.

“Meeting our loyal community in person is the most rewarding part of our pop-ups,” 

“Their support drives our growth, and these events are our way of giving back and deepening our connection.”

Gisou’s Holiday Pop-up will be open from 11 to 15 December.

Its hero product Honey Infused Hair Oil has been reimagined into an exclusive Crystal Edition for the London activation.

Visitors can try and win the collector’s item at the pop-up’s ‘wishing well’ game.

The brand’s complete product range will be available, including holiday gift sets and limited edition Cherry on the Cake Lip Oil.

Exclusive Gisou merchandise will also be on offer, such as The Gisou Holiday Sweater in Cherry or Crème, The Gisou Holiday Tote and The Gisou Holiday Journal Set.

As well as The Gisou Holiday Beauty Pouch, The Gisou Holiday Mini Beauty Pouch Set and The Gisou Cherry Lippie on a Chain.
