GLS goes phthalate-free
Regulations limiting the use of phthalate-based plasticizers and market demands for low extractable TPEs have inspired GLS to add a new phthalate-free TPE to its Versaflex product line. Versaflex CL E95 offers superior clarity (Haze <5 ASTM D1003), low hardness and excellent flexibility at low temperatures. According to GLS, recently acquired by PolyOne, it is suitable for a range of packaging applications including cosmetic and infant care products, extruded tubing and films, and facemasks.
