New from Guerlain is Fontaine Impériale, an exclusive flacon inspired by France's Second Empire and designed to resemble a fountain.

The product, aimed at the super-luxury market, is made with crystal from the Cristallerie du Val Saint Lambert in Belgium and features a stopper sporting an engraved bee - the emblem of the house.

The flacon contains a new Gueralin fragrance, Précieux Nectar, which mixes citrus and floral top notes with petitgrain and bitter almond. The heart, which contains a bouquet of orange blossom and jasmine blended with almond, is supported by a dry down incorporating sandalwood, vanilla, guaiacum wood, incense and white musk.
