Italian company Guna has chosen Airlessystems' new Eden package for its new cosmetic gel product.

The ergonomic package prevents any air from entering the dispenser, providing product protection and contamination prevention without the use of preservatives.

“Our first concern was to find a package that enables us to propose to medical aesthetics practitioners a ready-to-use gel administrable by electroporation, while guaranteeing the formula’s stability and integrity,” comments Paul-Albert Charpentier, export manager at Guna. He acknowledges that the system costs more than conventional solutions but believes its advantages, including image, outway this cost. “This airless packaging technology enables us to anticipate a future regulation prohibiting parabens and to take one step ahead on a niche market.”
