Halo has been announced as the winner of the ‘Best Vegetarian Beauty Product’ at the Vegetarian Society 2008 awards for its Halo Light Moisturising Cream.
The company fought off competition such as natural cosmetic giants, Lush to receive the accolade. Soni Shah, Halo founder, said: “We stayed focussed on our goal of achieving an affordable yet high quality and natural and ethical brand. It means a lot to us to have achieved this recognition from the panel of judges at the vegetarian society, as well as the support from of our customers who voted us in this two stage selection process.”
Having been launched just a little over a year ago the Halo brand is fairly new to the natural skin care sector, however, the company has built up support through natural, ethical, vegetarian, vegan and community networks. The Halo Light Moisturising Cream is a natural, unperfumed, daily facial moisturiser and contains vitamin E, aloe vera and sweet almond oil.
