The Kerfoot Group has developed a heated intermediate bulk container (IBC) for the handling of hard oils.

According to business development manager Graham McQuade: “When the IBCs containing these solid or viscose oils arrive with a customer the heating system is activated to return the oil to a liquid state which can then easily be emptied through a hose into a processing vessel.”

Kerfoot’s heated IBCs hold 924 litres or 850kg of oil in a 2mm stainless steel tank shell.
