Schwan Cosmetics is set to open a new North Asia hub in Seoul, Korea focused on bringing K-beauty innovations to market more quickly.
Due to open in January 2027, the manufacturer’s hub will give brands faster access to colour cosmetics with skin care benefits.
It will connect Korea’s advances in skin care, active ingredients and longevity with Schwan Cosmetics’ formulation expertise and global production network.
Schwan Cosmetics’ team in Seoul will aim to identify skin care, ingredient and beauty technology developments early, and will work with local customers, suppliers and innovation partners.
“The hub strengthens our role as an innovation partner and gives our customers more innovation power and faster speed-to-market for concepts with genuine global potential,” said Dr Alexander Doll, Head of R&D at Schwan Cosmetics.
Leroy Lee, Regional President Asia at Schwan Cosmetics, commented: “Our team in Seoul will work directly with local partners to bring relevant developments into our global network faster.
“This strengthens our innovation pipeline and creates new business opportunities for our customers around the world.”
