Following Un Jardin en Méditerranée and Un Jardin sur le Nil, Hermés has launched a third garden scent, Un Jardin après la Mousson. (A Garden After the Monsoon). Created by Hermés’ in-house perfumer, Jean-Claude Ellena, Un Jardin après la Mousson is inspired by the sights and smells of the Indian region of Kerala after a monsoon.
Ellena opted to bring out the cooler vegetal and watery impressions of the region, rather than the hot spicy interpretation normally associated with Kerala. As a result, the floral spicy fragrance combines cardamom, coriander and pepper, blended with Kahili ginger, green vetiver and grassy sap.
The bottle follows the same design as the existing garden fragrances and features a deep blue base, graduating up the bottle to a light green hue.
