Ten-year agreement to begin January 2012

Inter Parfums has entered into a ten-year exclusive worldwide fragrance license agreement, with two five-year renewal options, to create, produce and distribute Anna Sui perfumes and related products.

The agreement, effective 1 January 2012, replaces a previous license with Procter & Gamble. The fragrance house is also in negotiations to buy the existing inventory from P&G, which is subject to a definitive agreement.

Inter Parfums says it will work in partnership with the US designer and her creative team to develop new fragrances capturing the brand’s sweet, feminine, nostalgic aura and adds that a new women’s scent is being contemplated for autumn 2012.

“We have high expectations for growing the Anna Sui fragrance franchise by developing new products and expanding the brand’s fragrance presence in North America, Europe and the Middle East,” commented Inter Parfums’ president Andy Clarke. Sui, meanwhile, declared herself excited about the growth opportunities presented by the new license.
