At the heart of the Celine project is an exclusive refill system, for which a patent application was filed in November 2024. This system is designed to make container reuse as simple as possible, making every step – from removing the old refill to inserting the new one – intuitive and seamless. The approach is not only technical but also deeply user-focused, ensuring convenience and ease of use even for those without industrial equipment. This is a significant advantage, particularly for small brands or niche projects that prioritise sustainability without compromising on quality.
Functionality is paired with a clean and elegant aesthetic: circular shape, smooth lines and a flush-fitting lid for visual continuity and versatile use. Inside the glass jar is a removable PP insert with a bayonet-lock lid, ensuring optimal product preservation.
A key element of the system is the internal thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) ring, a flexible yet durable material that acts as an interface between glass and plastic, improving stability, precise positioning and ease of use during refilling.
Celine also offers extensive customisation possibilities. The glass can be decorated on the inside without risk of product contamination, opening new creative opportunities for cosmetic brands and a strong visual impact on the shelf.
The project embodies a commitment to more sustainable production. The refill system reduces the amount of material discarded after use, promoting the reuse of glass containers, which are durable and recyclable. Additionally, using single-material components for the inner insert facilitates sorting and recycling at the end of life.
