It's Unforgivable

Entertainment mogul Sean Combs has joined the ever-growing ranks of celebrity purveyors of fragrance with the introduction of his Sean John Unforgivable scent, developed with Estée Lauder's Aramis and Designer Fragrances.

The scent is described as sleek, smooth and slightly dangerous. Top notes include lemon, bergamot, green mandarin, tangerine and grapefruit with dark leafy greens of juniper and birch and a sparkling champagne accord. The heart comprises basil, iris, clary sage and lavender and the “sexy accord” dry-down contrasts a warm cashmere accord and cool sea moss with Australian sandalwood, amber and tonka bean.

The print advertising for the fragrance has caused controversy and been rejected by the majority of retailers in the US. The image portrays Combs lying on a bed with two women, the suggestion being that they’ve just had sex.
