Jennifer Lawrence has teased the launch of her own hair care brand called Mes°.
The 36-year-old American actress – best known for her roles in The Hunger Games franchise and movies Silver Linings Playbook and Mother! – is launching a “biodesigned hair care” range that claims to offer “a new perspective on beauty”.
Lawrence unveiled her move into beauty on Instagram on 16 October.
She shared a carousel of images of different hairstyles she has worn for different movie roles, ranging in colour and texture, alongside a link to the Mes° website in her bio.
Mes° has been designed by Lawrence but engineered by biotech beauty company Arcaea, the website states.
It will launch on 27 October, and there is a sign-up online for those who want to “get curious”.
The finer details of the brand’s ethos, products and formulations are under wraps for now.
Lawrence is not the only A-lister moving, or expanding, within the thriving hair care space.
Rapper Cardi B launched her natural hair care brand, Grow-Good Beauty, in April.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s textured hair care brand Cécred marked its first international retail expansion in September, entering Space NK stores across the UK and Ireland.
Spice Girls’ Mel B (aka ‘Scary Spice’) has also teased that she will be unveiling curl-focused hair care range MPWR next year.
