Kadalys tickles the tastebuds

French skin care firm Kadalys has launched Baume Lèvres et Papilles (lips and tastebuds balm). Based on yellow banana ‘musactive’ (a patented active with antioxidant and anti-ageing properties found in bananas that grow in the Caribbean region), muscat rose oil, oils of jojoba, mimosa and sunflower and castor oil, it is priced at €12 for 7ml.

“To help our fragile lips face the cold and icy winds of winter, Kadalys has created this new lip balm,” said the company. “When they are dry, dehydrated, irritated or chapped, lips will delight in this balm with muscative of yellow banana, a concentrate of antioxidants with anti-ageing, repairing and nourishing virtues.”

The virtues that Kadalys claims for the active include a high content of phytosterols, polyphenols, vitamin E, omega 3 and omega 6. Baume Lèvres et Papilles is available from pharmacies, parapharmacies, beauty salons and from the firm’s website.
