Kao Corporation and Kanebo Cosmetics have announced further integration of logistics bases and joint distribution of their products.


Kao Corporation and Kanebo Cosmetics have announced further integration of logistics bases and joint distribution of their products.

A logistics centre in the Tohoku area will be established this October, with bases planned throughout Japan by 2010. By then Kao and Kanebo expect logistical synergies to have reduced cumulative costs by ¥5bn.

Integrated logistics centres in Kansai and Hokkaido are in operation and a centre in Ishikari opened on 10 March 2008.
