The entrepreneur has confirmed the new beauty line under her Skims brand is underway and that she is ‘going to bring back what works’

Kim Kardashian has teased what we can expect from the launch of Skims Beauty, which is rumoured to land next year.

The beauty entrepreneur not only confirmed that the new beauty line under her Skims brand is coming, but also some of the products that will make up the collection, including lip liners.

Talking to Alex Cooper on 15 October on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kardashian said: “The one thing I am super excited about is Skims Beauty.

“That is coming next. And that is going to be so fucking major.”

In March, Karshadian’s shapewear company Skims acquired the entrepreneur’s skin care and make-up label SKKN by Kim from Coty as part of a larger brand consolidation.

It bought Coty’s 20% minority stake as well as Kardashian’s 80% majority stake so the reality star’s clothing, cosmetics, skin care and fragrance businesses could be under one umbrella.

In June, Kardashian shut down SKKN by Kim as part of this consolidation, just three years after launching, paving the way for Skims Beauty.

SKKN by Kim was founded in 2022 following the closure of Kardashian’s cosmetics and fragrance lines KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Kardashian confirmed Skims Beauty’s collection will comprise “fragrance and make-up and all the things”, as well as nod to some old favourites from her original KKW Beauty line.

“The lip liners are coming – they are coming,” she said.

“And the KKW Beauty, like the, you know, the original.

“I feel like I tried to do something. I love when I, like, know what works and then try something and I know it does not work, and that is okay.

“And so we are going to bring back what works and we are going to make it so major and so great.”

Skims debuted its first-ever beauty tool product, Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, in July to mixed reviews.

The product jumped on the trend for sculpted faces and ‘morning shed’ routines, and is designed to create a ‘snatched’ look around the jawline.
