Partners in Packaging (PiP) has launched a new printing and labelling system designed to offer high speed, high quality variable and sequential printing and label application. The Etipack System 9 is suitable for cartons and envelopes and can reach speeds of up to 200/minute for print and apply labels and speeds of up to 400/minute for apply labels alone. The unit also allows the user to take information from a database and print individual details before the label is applied.

“The new System 9 reduces the requirement to stock large numbers of carton designs,” says Duncan Macintyre, md Partners in Packaging. “Different label and artwork designs together with different bar codes and sequential number and date codes can be applied to blank cartons as and when required.”
