L'Oréal Groupe has promoted Christina (Tina) Fair to President of its Consumer Products Division for the North America Zone, effective immediately.

Fair succeeds Nathalie Gerschtein, who is stepping down to pursue new opportunities outside of L'Oréal.

She will report to David Greenberg, CEO of L'Oréal USA and President of the North America Zone, and Alexis Perakis-Valat, President of the Consumer Products Division for L'Oréal Groupe.

Fair is a L’Oréal veteran, having worked as President of L'Oréal’s Dermatological Beauty in the North America Zone since 2020.

During her time, she established it as L’Oréal’s third-largest division, cited by the group as “significantly accelerating sales growth and increasing market share”.

She oversaw the growth of brands CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals, Skinbetter Science and Vichy in the division.

“I am thrilled that Tina will now be taking the helm of our Consumer Products Division and our extraordinary portfolio of Consumer Division beauty brands, including L'Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier, Essie and NYX Professional Makeup," said Greenberg.

"I have seen Tina step change every business she has run as we have witnessed with the Dermatological Beauty Division under Tina's leadership.

“Her strategic vision, bold decision-making, and entrepreneurial mindset position her and the division for continued success."

Fair's career at L'Oréal first began in 2008, where she undertook leadership positions within the US Consumer Products Division, including senior marketing roles with Garnier and Maybelline New York.

In 2015, she led the global marketing for skin care brand SkinCeuticals and was quickly promoted to be the brand's US General Manager.

L’Oréal said in a statement that she accelerated the brand's growth and “cemented its leading position” in professional skin care.
