Laneige has announced global girl group Katseye as its new Global Partner.
The Grammy-nominated girl group – formed on Netflix documentary Pop Star Academy: Katseye – are fronting the brand’s latest lip launch, JuicePop Box Lip Tint, inspired by K-beauty lip tints.
The campaign sees Katseye’s six members each assigned to a JuicePop Box Lip Tint that reflects their personality.
“Sensoriality has always been central to Laneige, from flavour-inspired formulas to playful, immersive experiences," said Julien Bouzitat, SVP of Prestige at Amorepacific US.
"With JuicePop Box Lip Tint, we are expanding that storytelling through music – our first collection designed with sound as its creative foundation.
“Teaming up with Katseye, a globally connected, diverse, and vibrant K‑pop‑inspired group, brings this launch to life in an authentic and electric way.
“Each member embodies creativity, confidence and their own unique vibe – just like the music‑inspired shades in our new lip tint line-up and our original packaging made to move with you.”
Set to the group’s song, ‘Internet Girl’, Katseye ‘turn up the tint’ in a pink recording studio, showcasing their Lip Tint shades – Red Classic for Sophia, DJ Plum for Lara, Pop Star Peach for Manon, Disco Coral for Daniela, and LoFi Mauve for Yoonchae.
The Laneige JuicePop Box Lip Tint collection of eight shades will retail for US$23 each, available at Sephora.com and Laneige.com, and launch with Amazon.com and in-stores at Sephora and Sephora at Kohl's beginning January 30.
