Lauder reopens Canadian Color Innovation Center

Estée Lauder Cosmetics Ltd, a Canadian subsidiary of the Estée Lauder Companies Inc, has announced the reopening of its Canadian Color Innovation Center in Markham, Ontario. The reopening follows a two-year US$3m project to renovate the 28,000 square foot R&D and manufacturing facility.

Scientists will use the Color Innovation Center to expand colour shades, product finishes and application methods, discover ways to enhance colour products, implement new techniques, provide specialised analytical techniques and coordinating consumer testing with make-up artists.

“Innovation is key to our Company’s ongoing success and this centre will be integral in creating exciting and relevant projects for our important make-up category,” commented the company’s ceo, William P Lauder.
