Laetitia Toupet-Delon has been named the new chief of L’Oréal Paris.
The L’Oréal veteran will lead the beauty giant’s consumer business, which includes brands such as Revitalift skincare and Elvive hair care.
In the role of Global Brand President, Toupet-Delon succeeds Delphine Viguer-Hovasse, who was last week unveiled as L’Oréal’s first ever Chief Innovation & Prospective Officer.
Toupet-Delon first joined L’Oréal in 1998 and is currently Global Brands General Manager of L’Oréal’s Dermatological Beauty Division, which includes brands such as La Roche Posay, Cera Ve and Vichy.
Previously, she spent eight years in charge of La Roche Posay, and before that spent time working on L’Oréal Paris skin care, Garnier, Vichy and Sanoflore in various roles, including marketing, sales and management.
Toupet-Delon will take up the new role this summer.
Meanwhile, Viguer-Hovasse will oversee both the existing innovation teams and the Strategic Prospective Department in the new role from 1 July, to ensure “a holistic and future-focused approach to beauty innovation”.
The newly created position has been established to “further strengthen” the French beauty giant’s “leadership within the dynamic and fast-evolving beauty landscape”, read a statement from the company.
