The Lornamead Group has created a dedicated business unit for its luxury toiletries business, which will focus primarily on its Yardley of London brand. According to the company, the move signifies increased investment and commercial focus in heritage fragrance and bath luxuries. The Windsor-based specialist division will be headed up by Quentin Higham, who will assume the role of managing director of Yardley from 1 March.
The Yardley brand, which draws inspiration from England’s plant life, was formed 240 years ago. In November 2009, India’s Wipro acquired Yardley’s businesses in Asia, the Middle East, Australasia and several African countries.
