Malvern snaps up Swedish rheology business
Malvern Instruments acquires certain assets of Reologica Instruments
Malvern Instruments has acquired certain assets of Swedish rheology company Reologica Instruments, which went into administration on 23 March this year.
“This purchase gives Malvern access to additional technologies and intellectual property that will support the continued development of our own rheology business,” says Malvern Instruments md Paul Walker. “Reologica Instruments has been involved in the design and manufacture of rheometers and associated accessories for more than 20 years and there is a wealth of knowledge in the business. We anticipate that key members of the Reologica team will transfer as a result of the deal.”
Financial terms have not been disclosed.
