Marine ingredient specialist BiotechMarine has launched 11 new ingredients, nine of which are extracted from marine plants and two from a Breton seaweed.
The hair care range boasts three new ingredients - Cramba maritima, Limonium latifolium and Inula crithmoide. Cramba maritima is claimed to make hair colour shine while protecting the hair fibres, Limonium latifolium is designed to protect hair from the elements while preventing static and Inula crithmoide claims to make hair shine while enhancing natural colour.
The company says it can protect skin from the sun while revitalising it tohave a more youthful essence. Inula crithmoide is claimed to firm the skin and also has anti-ageing purposes. For sensitve skin, the company suggests Aster maritime, said to have soothing and calming agents. Limonium latifolim is designed to slow down skin ageing.
