You are back hosting the Pure Beauty Awards for its 25th Anniversary. What makes these awards so special?
Jewel: “I love hosting the Pure Beauty Awards because it really celebrates the best of the best in the industry.
It is always such an honour to be surrounded by the crème de la crème and so much talent.
I am so excited – let’s do this.”
Why are events like the Pure Beauty Awards so important to brands and the wider industry?
Jewel: “The Pure Beauty Awards are such an important and recognised mark of excellence for brands.
All of the winners and nominees should feel incredibly proud to be part of the awards because of the high calibre, standards and esteem they hold.”
How has beauty evolved over the past 25 years?
Jewel: “I have been working in beauty since 2001, and there have been such huge changes that I am incredibly proud of.
I love the fact that the internet and [social media platform] Instagram have made beauty so much more democratic.
Before, there were a few gatekeepers, whereas now a huge com
