Mugler and Clarins to unveil Womanity
Major fragrance launch goes the internet route
Thierry Mugler and Clarins are using the internet to launch a new fragrance – Womanity – in June. The product has taken four years to develop and is only Mugler's third perfume in the last 20 years. Joel Palix, president of the Clarins Fragrance Group, said the need to go slowly was a reflection of Mugler's standards of creativity and concern for quality.
Womanity will contain natural extracts in a rose-tinted bottle surmounted by a sculpted figure and will be available in a 10ml quantity.
Following the launch next month the product will be available in French perfumeries from mid-August.
