Mugler taps Cai Xukun as new Global Ambassador

Xukun, who is also a brand ambassador for Prada, will front a campaign promoting the brand’s legacy Angel fragrance

Mugler Fragrances has unveiled Chinese singer and dancer Cai Xukun as its newest global ambassador.

The L’Oréal-owned brand stated that the artist’s “fearless attitude and pioneering personality in music and fashion are a perfect match for the spirit of Mugler Fragrances”. 

Originally launched in 1992, the Angel edp has undergone a revamp and is now available in bold new packaging.


The brand describes its new coconut and patchouli led fragrance, Angel Fantasm Eau de Parfum Sensuelle,  as “a fierce new black star in the Angel galaxy”.

Xukun’s appointment was announced in a post on Instagram, in which Mugler stated: “Unapologetic, assertive, and going beyond conventions: Mugler Fragrances Global Ambassador Cai Xukun channels the ultimate confidence of Angel Fantasm Eau de Parfum Sensuelle.”

The announcement was also connected to the brand's campaign for the Angel Fantasm Eau de Parfum Sensuelle, where Xukun is pictured.

Xukun is best known as a Chinese singer, dancer and actor, and for winning Chinese reality show Idol Producer.
