Based on sucrose and vegetable acids, Sisterna sucrose esters are a unique range of natural, EO-free emulsifiers that are said to have exceptional performance and mildness to the skin and eyes. Sisterna states that the sucrose esters offer other benefits besides emulsification. These include providing superior foam density and stability when formulating emulsion or water-based foams, such as self-tanning or moisturising body mousses.

Sisterna has introduced a range of new guide formulations with sucrose esters; among them a gentle scrub and a 100% natural body lotion with all edible ingredients, without compromising the silky skin-feel of sucrose esters.
