New association created for British cold pressed oil producers
A new association has been launched for cold pressed oil producers in the UK. The British Association of Cold Pressed Oil Producers (BACPOP) has been created to protect and promote the quality of home-grown premium product as well as representing British farmers producing cold pressed oils.
A new association has been launched for cold pressed oil producers in the UK. The British Association of Cold Pressed Oil Producers (BACPOP) has been created to protect and promote the quality of home-grown premium product as well as representing British farmers producing cold pressed oils.
Currently BACPOP has 12 members, representing 80% of the total cold pressed oil market in the UK.
“I am proud to be part of the drive to create definitive standards for cross industry use of cold pressed seeds to continue to produce the best quality oil possible,” commented Henry Noon, association chairman. “We hope to increase their use in many other products in the future.”
