Oat Cosmetics announces results of their gluten-free oat oil, Oat Lipid e.
With the beauty industry’s ‘free-from’ trend on the rise globally, Oat Cosmetics have reacted to consumer demand and is excited to announce the ground-breaking research results of their gluten-free oat oil, Oat Lipid e.
The new data, released today, has demonstrated Oat Lipid e’s remarkable lipid profile which is packed with a number of effective skin and hair care benefits for both the formulator and consumer. The oil contains no proteins and is completely gluten free.
Oat Lipid e is rich in skin identical lipids. This includes a high level of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids which are key for improving the skin barrier and reducing TEWL. The Oil also has a significant amount of membrane-identical phospholipids; ceramides, phosphatidycholine and phosphatidylethanolamine, which combine to support the barrier function helping to keep skin in a healthy condition, and slow down skin ageing.
