Swedish based direct seller Oriflame cosmetics has chosen Aarts Plastics to produce an exclusive cap for its luxury perfume brand Giordani Gold.
Giordani Gold Essenza Eau de Parfum is the new pinnacle fragrance for Giordani Gold. From the glass bottle and Italian orange blossom heart to the real gold galvanisation and foil on the cap, Essenza marks a new era of perfumery for Oriflame, according to the company.
The brand has been operating since its launch in 1976. The challenge of the new packaging, Aarts Plastics said, was to create something modern and suitable for future generations with a multi-sensory experience. The heavy weight bottle carries a heavy weight cap with gold galvanized textured sides and the GG logo inside.

The cap also features real gold galvanisation that emulates the texture of the carton box, creating a 3-D effect.
The development of the cap represented a true technical challenge for the packaging teams of both companies, with respect to design, construction, decoration and assembly, noted Aarts Plastics. The development process was completed in a short time, and encompassed pilot tooling.
