Health & Beauty Solutions (HBS), a subsidiary of Amcol International has announced the acquisition of Microsponge Technology from Cardinal Health for an undisclosed sum.


Health & Beauty Solutions (HBS), a subsidiary of Amcol International has announced the acquisition of Microsponge Technology from Cardinal Health for an undisclosed sum.

Under the agreement, HBS will control the technology and all related assets, including the current patent portfolio and customer base.

“We are dedicated to delivering proprietary products and the highest value to our customers. With this addition to its product portfolio, Health and Beauty Solutions will further enhance our Specialty Minerals product lines. This is a continuation of the investment we have made in our Specialty Minerals group,” says Larry Washow, president and ceo at Amcol.
