Brazilian men are caring more about their appearance, yet are still not satisfied with current grooming products. Time for brands to step up their ranges and give men more choice
Although the Brazilian market for men’s grooming grew by a healthy 4.6% in 2016 to reach a value of $6.79bn, this in fact represented a slowdown from the 10% growth recorded in 2015 and the 15% recorded in 2014 (source: Euromonitor International).
The drop in sales was a result of the economic crisis that has hit the country, and its citizens’ wallets, over the past couple of years.
