Botanical Lab unveils new look

Botanical Lab is an accessible, benefit-led, anti-blemish skin care range

Anti-blemish skin care brand, Botanical Lab, has refreshed its image with the introduction of fresh new packaging across its portfolio, which is being rolled out now.

Botanical Lab is an accessible, benefit-led, anti-blemish skin care range that combines the very best of natural, yet effective botanical extracts with powerful, effective science-led actives.

To reflect this, the collection now features a cool blue colour, with different patterns to differentiate between the products. The product names have also been updated to reflect the key scientific active as well as botanical extract contained within them.

Heidi Williams, Head of Marketing at Karium Ltd, comments, "Previously, Botanical Lab products were packaged in the colours that reflected the natural ingredients within them, for example, orange for turmeric. However, we want consumers to know that our products work because their formulations contain the very best ingredients for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin – and that these are both natural and science-led actives.

"What’s more, consumers, particularly those with touchy skin, are becoming more ingredient savvy, so by adding the key scientific actives to the product names, we are helping to provide clarity. Consumers can see at a glance whether the products contain salicylic acid or niacinamide, for example".

The move also provides the perfect platform for the brand to expand into other skin care concerns in the future.

All packaging is recyclable, and the cartons are made from FSC certified cardboard, meaning it is from responsible sources. Botanical Lab believes in being transparent and its products are vegan-friendly, free from SLS, phthalates, synthetic colours, and artificial fragrances.

Botanical Lab is currently available from Superdrug, Tesco, Amazon, Ocado, Lloyds Pharmacy, and www.superdrug.co.uk, and www.botanicallab.com.
