Dufry and Kenya Airports Authority sign concession agreement

Agreememt is binding until 2024.

Dufry and Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) have recently signed a concession agreement for development and management of Duty Free Retail Services under a single master license at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport until 2024.

The agreement allows Dufry to operate in excess of 751sqm retail space, including duty free stores. The commercial area will be located in the newly opened Terminal 1A, allowing Dufry to showcase a comprehensive range of products.

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is the largest airport in the East and Central African region and a major hub for Africa.

In 2013, the airport welcomed a total of 6 million passengers.
