As the trend for beards continues in Germany, weak sales in shaving products are blighting the otherwise successful men’s market. But innovations in body shaving could stop further sales from disappearing down the drain
Germany’s male grooming market has been steadily ticking over in recent years with moderate growth rates, but 2016 gave it an extra boost.
According to IRI Germany, sales rose by 3.6% to total €724.6m, bulking up from an average 1.5% value growth in 2014 and 2015.
