Gattefossé develops an EnergiNius solution to fatigue

Published: 3-Apr-2018

Gattefossé has developed an experiment to recreate the light emitted by devices’ screens to reproduce the exposure of 40 hours per week for eight months on normal human fibroblasts.

Exposure was shown to damage the ‘energetic machinery’ of skin cells and to weaken their mobility and communication abilities.

Gattefossé’s new ingredient, EnergiNius, has been developed to help reduce the impact of artificial visible light on skin.

It prevents the mitochondrial network from fragmenting, allowing normalised ATP production, while the mobility and communication properties of fibroblasts are no longer affected by screen light exposure.
