Glossier has named actress and singer Olivia Rodrigo as its first-ever celebrity face.
The 19-year-old will work with the millennial pink-packaged beauty brand across product and content marketing campaigns.
Rodrigo, known for her hit singles 'Deja Vu' and 'Good 4 U', is said to have had a relationship with Glossier since 2021 when she debuted the brand's Ultralip launch via Vogue's Beauty Secrets video series.
The YouTube video has been viewed more than 12 million times.
More recently, she has worn full Glossier beauty looks to high profile events including the American Music Awards and the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, where she won Best New Artist.
"The partnership with Olivia signifies the brand’s focus on building authentic talent partnerships grounded in real-life connections and shared values," said Glossier in a statement.
"It’s also an extension of Glossier’s people-first approach to beauty with Glossier and Olivia initially connecting over the belief that beauty is above all, celebrating where you’re at today and taking pride in your beauty journey."
Glossier's first campaign with Rodrigo will focus on the Emily Weiss-founded brand's 'You Look Good' motto.
"The brand wants to capture this version of beauty – unedited, true-to-life, embracing our own quirks and a little weirdness – and celebrate all the things that make Olivia, Olivia," described Glossier.
"Through this campaign, her message is loud and clear: celebrate the things that make you, you! You look good, just as you are today."
Rodrigo announced the partnership on Instagram to her 24.5 million followers. The social media clip has been viewed 2.3 million times in less than 20 hours.
