After a break from make-up launches, the controversial YouTube star has kicked off 2022 with a new category of products
YouTube sensation and beauty entrepreneur Jeffree Star has lifted the lid on his debut skin care line.
After years in the making, Jeffree Star Skin launches with seven core products, and more are said to be in the pipeline.
A self confessed ‘skin care junkie’, Star said that he wanted to start with the “basics” for his new venture.
Skus include a hydrating moisturiser, make-up removing balm, cleanser, facial toner, eye cream, lip mask and face mist (US$16-$32).
Star teased that more lip care products would be hitting the market.
The line will hit shelves just three months after Star launched his pet care sub-brand.
Star said during the video reveal that he wanted to create a line that was not “complicated” and said that “everything works”.
Via star’s website, the products’ ingredients have been listed.
Actives include: niacinamide, squalane, glycolic and lactic acids.
Sesame seed extract, moringa and jojoba seed oil have also been used across the product list.
As well as a new logo, the packaging – which gives a hint of Kylie Skin – is said to be a “whole new energy” for the Jeffree Star brand.
Pastel pink has been used across the entire collection, while some of the formulas are also in pale pink.
Star’s line will go live on 25 February, with all products available via jeffreestarcosmetics.com.
