Taylor Swift’s 12th album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ (TLOASG), landed last week (3 October), bringing with it a wave of marketing materials and more in the album’s signature Showgirl orange.
The shade has already made its way into packaging and pigments across the beauty sphere, marking a shift toward warmth, excess and energy.
Few brands have captured that crossover moment like Fazit, whose glitter freckles and make-up patches count Swift herself amongst the fans.
“When we launched Fazit with the first-ever makeup patches – our glitter freckle designs – we always envisioned them on Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour,” said co-founders Aliett Buttelman and Nina LaBruna.
“In May 2024, we sent products to her makeup artist, and on October 7th, Taylor organically wore our Gold Glitter Freckles to a Chiefs game. That moment changed everything.”
The results of the Taylor Swift effect were seismic: a 4,500% spike in traffic and sales, media coverage from CBS to The Drew Barrymore Show, and a starring role in The Swift Effect documentary.
Now, with the new album on shelves, Fazit has launched a Walmart-exclusive collection inspired by this new “Showgirl Era,” with shades of orange, teal and silver reflecting both the music and mood of Swift’s latest chapter - landing in the same week Swift was spotted sporting the designs for a second time.
In celebration of the album, this week’s new products roundup shines a spotlight on seven launches embodying The Life of a Showgirl’s signature shade, from limited-edition electronics to colour-rich cosmetics.
