LVMH has revealed its financial results for H1 2017, with revenues totalling €19.7m, up from €17.1 in the first half of 2016.

In the Perfumes and Cosmetics division, the company generated €292m in profit, up 7%, while revenue reached €2.6m.

The division was, however, a contributor towards LVMH’s large marketing bill; the company ploughed €7.7m into marketing and selling expenses in the first half, up 11%.

LVMH said it was mainly due to retail network development, but also higher communications costs, especially in the perfumes and cosmetics division.
