La Roche-Posay eyes growth through Redermic skin care line

L’Oréal owned pharmacy brand La Roche-Posay has launched retinol based Redermic [R] Yeux Concentré Anti-Age Dermaologique Intensif for the sensitive eye area.

The company, which is known for its dermatologically based treatment products, already has a non-retinol based eye cream in the Redermic range: Redermic [C] Soin de Comblement Anti-Âge Yeux Sensibles.

“Redermic [R] Yeux visibly reduces crow's feet and minimises the look of dark circles. It provides a cooling effect, leaving eyes feeling soothed and refreshed,” said the brand. The new eye cream is said to build on the formula found in Redermic [R] Intensive Anti-Aging Corrective Treatment, which features pure retinol, although it is without LHA and fragrance to better cater to the delicate skin around the eyes.

The product combines 0.01% pure retinol with the firm’s Retinol Booster Complex (Retinyl Linoleate and Adenosine), which La Roche-Posay claims makes the retinol more effective, and caffeine, to reduce dark circles under the eyes. Redermic [R] Yeux costs around €33 for 15ml.
