Nordstrom dedicates 2 floors to beauty at 320,000 sqft new NYC store

The new space stocks more than 100 beauty brands through 16 permanent brand stores

Luxury department store Nordstrom has opened its debut flagship for women and children in New York City, US.

The new 320,000sqft space occupies the base of Central Park Tower, near its men’s department store, which launched in April 2018, and has two floors dedicated to beauty.

Two floors are dedicated to 16 beauty shops from brands including YSL Beaute, Armani, MAC Cosmetics, La Prairie, Byredo, Le Labo and Diptyque, as well as more than 100 beauty brands.

In store, shoppers can access the retailer’s digital Lipstick Finder, Fragrance Finder and Skincare Finder for a more personalised shopping experience.

Meanwhile, its Beauty Stylist Mirror allows customers to virtually try-on trending make-up looks.

Nordstrom will also offer beauty services including manicures by Base Coat, Sisley and Heyday facials, St. Tropez spray tans and injectables by Kate Sommerville.
