New Ta'if Intensivo is poured at a concentration of 40%

Ormonde Jayne has extended its Ta'if fragrance line with with a new, more concentrated formula.

Ta'if Intensivo, part of the brand’s Intensive collection, has been poured at the maximum 40% concentration to create a rich, complex perfume that brings out different nuances of the original scent.

“I created Ta'if Intensivo after requests from customers who wanted a more bespoke version of the perfume,” said founder, Linda Pilkington.

“This more concentrated version has been created to intoxicate and have lasting tenacity.”

The new scent is said to be faithful to the original and opens with top notes of pink pepper, saffron and dates, before moving to a heart of rose oil, freesia, orange flower absolute and jasmine.

Warming amber and broom complete the dry down.

The original Ta’if scent launched in 2005, inspired by the exotic rose found in the Arabian desert.

The franchise then grew to include a limited edition, Ta'if Extreme and, more recently Ta'if Extreme, a new interpretation, Ta'if Elixir, which also features Oudh notes, said to elevate the rose aspect of the fragrance.

Ta'if Intensivo is available now from Fortnum & Mason priced at £185 for 50ml.
