The AI and AR specialist's Small Business Beauty Tech Accelerator programme provides six months' free access to make Perfect Corp tools accessible to brands of all sizes

Beauty tech company Perfect Corp has introduced a new programme for small and indie businesses looking to boost their brand via artificial intelligence (AI).

The AI and augmented reality (AR) expert said its Small Business Beauty Tech Accelerator programme will provide women- or minority-owned small beauty brands and retailers with six months of free access to its virtual try-on solutions for make-up.

Launched in 2015 by Alice Chang, Perfect Corp’s self-service AR make-up virtual try-on solution for web allows brands to digitise their offerings across seven product categories: foundation, mascara, lip colour, blush, eyelashes, eyeliner and eyeshadow.

Customers can try-on beauty products virtually to discover their perfect shade.

“As AR and AI technology becomes an essential tool to engage consumers and provide personalised shopping experiences, our mission is to democratise access to these transformative digital innovations and make these tools accessible to brands of all sizes,” said Chang, who’s also Perfect Corp’s CEO.

“With these powerful solutions, brands can reimagine the consumer experience, provide personalised beauty to all and unlock new opportunities for growth.”

Brands interested in applying for Perfect Corp’s new small business programme, are asked to fill out a short survey application.
