REN houses new Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Anti-Fatigue Body Cream in 100% recycled plastic packaging

The brand first launched a 100% recycled packaging in partnership with Terracycle in 2018

REN Skincare has revealed a new 100% recycled packaging for its Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Anti-Fatigue Body Cream (£22).

Set to launch this month, the product follows the launch of its first 100% recycled packaging in 2018 for its Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Body Wash in partnership with TerraCycle.

The packaging is made from 20% plastic reclaimed from the ocean and 80% from recycled plastic bottles.

REN hopes to become zero waste by 2021.

Meanwhile, the product is said to be easily absorbed and designed to nourish, smooth and tone skin.

Featuring 100% sustainable actives, the product is infused with plankton extract to restore skin’s moisture balance and enhance natural cell renewal.

It is also blended with shea butter, algae extract, Atlantic kelp extract and magnesium PCA.

The product will be available to customers via renskincare.com.
