Polyglycerin-modified family of products shown to have outstanding humectancy

Shin-Etsu Silicones of America, a subsidiary of Japan’s Shin-Etsu Chemical, has grown its range with a line of super-hydrating polyglycerin-modified silicone emulsifiers.

This polyglycerin-modified family of products was demonstrated, through in vitro measurements, to have outstanding humectancy, useful when retaining essential moisture.

Formulations using the polyglycerin-modified silicone emulsifiers are said to deliver unique, versatile textures, and include serums, lotions, creams, balms and sticks with exquisite skin feel.

The PG-modified series is also PEG-free.
