As the third largest cosmetic and personal care market in the world, Brazil has already caught the eye of several international firms looking to enter the country, but Organic Monitor's research warns against assuming that all brands will thrive there, highlighting the eco-conscious concerns of the nation's shoppers. According to research by market research institute Gfk, cited by Organic Monitor, over half of Brazilian consumers consider the environmental impact of cosmetics when purchasing such products - the highest for any country.
