Vetroplas has displayed its new range of wooden accessories for the first time at Packaging Innovations. The collection is designed to give a distinctive look with a natural texture and sustainable feel, and is available in two different types of wood: Beech, which offers a lighter, more regular grain effect; or Ash, which is said to give products a more impactful appearance. In addition, both types of woods can be varnished to create further colour options: white, cherry wood, wenge and black. Customised colours can also be created on request.
Simon Dix, Sales Director at Vetroplas, said: “We believe this collection will prove to be highly desirable. It is incredibly tactile and has a very natural, pure look. It will really complement and enhance many different types of products and brands. The accessories will work with either glass or plastic packaging and we can help to further enhance brand identity through a wide range of decoration techniques such as silk screen printing, hot foil stamping, metallisation and lacquering.”
