L'Oréal, Kao Corporation and LVMH are among the top beauty businesses which have achieved the highest ranking in the CDP’s environmental A List for 2022.

The non-profit organisation's annual environmental disclosure and scoring process offers a standard for tracking corporate environmental transparency.

It holds the largest environmental database in the world and this year scored nearly 15,000 companies on their climate change, forests and water security disclosures.

However, only five global beauty businesses ranked in the list have scored an A in all three categories.
