The British fragrance house is adding to its collection of fine fragrances

British fragrance house Yardley is set to grow its fine fragrance offering with two new launches in 2014. Bringing its fragrance collection to five, the brand will roll out Jade for women and Chrome for men in the spring.

At the same time, it is also expected to relaunch its existing fragrances Royal English Daisy and Royal Diamond, which will be renamed Yardley London Daisy and Yardley London Diamond with updated packaging and visuals.

Composed by perfumer Anne- Sophie Chapuis, Jade is described as a “retro-inspired, fresh and elegant green floral chypre”. It opens on peach, bergamot and galbanum, moving into a heart of rose and jasmine, and base notes of patchouli, sandalwood and moss. The fragrance is also claimed to pay homage to Sea Jade, Yardley's first fragrance of the 1960s.

Finally, Chrome is a modern green fougere for men, which according to Yardley, also takes inspiration from the style of the 1960s. The fragrance was composed by Christian Provenzano and opens on green top notes followed by a lavender fougere heart and base of moss, clean musk and warming amber.

Both Jade and Chrome launch in March priced at £19.99 each.
